What is Orphiq?
Orphiq is an AI-native release planning and career strategy tool for music artists and the teams behind them. It helps you plan releases, get content ideas, and make better career decisions without needing to hire a full team. Orphiq's AI music strategist, Apollo, is trained specifically on music industry best practices.
Who is Orphiq for?
Orphiq is built for artists managing their own careers, artists with small teams, and music industry professionals like managers, labels, and agencies. If you release music and want to be more organized about how you plan and promote it, Orphiq is for you.
Who is Orphiq not for?
Orphiq isn't for artists who want AI to make their creative decisions or write their music. It's also not for people looking for a distribution platform or streaming service. Orphiq handles strategy and planning, not music creation or delivery.
How is Orphiq different from Notion, Asana, or Trello?
General project management tools require you to build your own structure from scratch. Orphiq comes pre-built for music releases, with templates, backward timelines from your drop date, and an AI strategist that understands music industry timing. You spend less time setting up and more time executing.
Can I use Orphiq as a solo artist?
Yes. Most Orphiq users are solo artists or artists with one or two collaborators. The free plan is designed specifically for artists working alone who want to stay organized without paying for team features.
Is Orphiq for teams?
Yes. The Pro and Star plans include seats for your manager, publicist, or collaborators. Team members can view your releases and projects, and on higher plans, they get their own access to Apollo for strategy questions.
What does Orphiq actually do?
Orphiq helps you with music release planning by working backward from your release dates, suggesting what to do and when. It gives you content ideas, helps you stay on top of deadlines, and lets you ask Apollo questions about your career. Think of it as a combination of project planning and a strategist who's always available.
What is Apollo?
Apollo is Orphiq's AI music strategist. You can ask Apollo questions about your release plan, content strategy, or career decisions, and it responds based on your specific goals and music industry best practices. Apollo doesn't make decisions for you, but it helps you make better ones.
What are Apollo's limitations?
Apollo can listen to your music if you share it, but it can't access your streaming analytics directly yet. Apollo doesn't predict what will go viral, it is designed to help you grow sustainably. Apollo knows what you choose to share with it. Apollo works best when you give it context about your goals, audience, and what you're trying to accomplish.
Does Orphiq replace managers, marketers, or labels?
No. Orphiq is a tool, not a replacement for human relationships. If you have a manager, Orphiq helps you both stay on the same page. If you don't have one, it helps you do more on your own until you're ready for that step.
Does Orphiq make decisions for me?
No. Orphiq gives you recommendations and information, but every decision is yours. You can follow Apollo's suggestions, modify them, or ignore them entirely. The goal is to give you peace of mind, not to take away your control.
How does Orphiq help with content creation?
Orphiq helps you plan what to post and when to post it on social media. It suggests content ideas based on your release timeline and can help you brainstorm hooks, captions, and posting schedules. It doesn't create the content for you, but it helps you figure out what to make. With Apollo you never have to wonder what you should work on today or what you could post today.
Is my data safe in Orphiq?
Yes. Your data is secure in transit and at rest, and each user's data is isolated. We don't sell your information to third parties and no AI models are being trained with your personal data. For full details on our security practices, see our Security FAQ.
Does Orphiq use my data to train AI models?
No. We do not use your conversations, projects, or content to train AI models. Apollo's recommendations come from music industry knowledge and whatever you choose to contextualize Apollo with, not from model training on your personal data.
Do I own my work in Orphiq?
Yes. Everything you create or upload in Orphiq belongs to you. We don't claim any rights to your music, content ideas, or projects. You can delete your data anytime.
What platforms can I connect to Orphiq?
Orphiq focuses on helping you plan and strategize rather than relying on streaming or social platforms, but we do have integrations, like with TikTok. Apollo's recommendations are based on what you tell it about your presence on those platforms.
Can I use Orphiq without connecting accounts?
Yes. Orphiq works without any account connections. You enter your information manually, and Apollo uses that to give you recommendations. Connecting accounts is optional and designed to save you time, not required to use the product.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan lets you plan personalized releases and includes limited conversations with Apollo. It's designed for artists who want to try Orphiq without commitment. No credit card required.
What is included in each plan?
Free gets you started with release planning and limited Apollo access. DIY ($37/month) removes limits so you can plan as many releases as you want with full AI conversations. Pro ($97/month) adds your team: 3 seats so your manager or collaborators can work alongside you.
How does pricing work for teams?
Pro includes 3 seats (you plus 2 team members). If you need more, the next tier up is Star. Team members on Pro get full access to view and edit projects and can ask Apollo questions.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle. No long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
Do collaborators need paid seats?
On the free plan, you can invite view-only collaborators at no cost. If you want team members who can edit projects and use Apollo, you'll need the Pro plan or higher.
How do I get started with Orphiq?
Claim or create your workspace, set up your artist profile, and enter your next release information. Orphiq builds your timeline from there. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes. Sign up for Orphiq to get started.
How quickly can I start using Orphiq?
You can have your first release plan set up in less than 10 minutes. There's no complex onboarding or setup required. Enter your release information, and Orphiq works backward from there.
Is Orphiq available worldwide?
Yes. Orphiq is available globally in English, but Apollo can speak back most popular languages. Just ask Apollo your question in your language of choice, and you can also do all information entry in your language. We're working on additional language support.
How do I get support?
You can reach our support team through the help widget inside Orphiq or by emailing support@orphiq.com.
Can Orphiq help me draft emails to my fans?
Yes. Orphiq helps you plan email campaigns for release announcements, fan updates, and engagement sequences. It drafts subject lines, email copy, and sending schedules tailored to your release timeline.
Can a manager use Orphiq to coordinate releases across multiple artists?
Yes. Industry plans are designed for professionals working with multiple artists. Each artist has their own workspace, and managers can access the workspaces they're invited to. The AI strategist gives completely different recommendations for each artist based on their individual context.
What kind of content ideas does Orphiq suggest?
Orphiq suggests short-form video concepts, behind-the-scenes content ideas, announcement and teaser strategies, fan engagement prompts, and story-driven content that builds narrative over time. Suggestions are based on your release timeline, your brand, and what resonates with your audience.
Does Orphiq help with playlist pitching?
Orphiq can help you prepare your pitch by understanding your release timing, audience data, and positioning. For step-by-step guidance, see our guide on how to get on Spotify playlists.
